Again, much thanks to gustav / jakob for making these possible. I love the G9, and I've only used the Calrec a little but seems great.

I had these front panels (Par-Metal) laser engraved by a friend, they have this awesome vintage-looking dark gold color to them - totally suprised me!

Designing the hole layouts for those EQs was a real challenge! I built some prototypes out of fiber board, definitely a must.

I have a dual 1176 in one box finished, pics up soon.

Very nice indeed! Any chance your friend would take on some PAYING customers to have some other stuff engraved??
 
I'll check with him - he does run an engraving business in the San Jose, CA area. Only thing is, he doesn't do the holes - had to have my other friend do that at his work's shop. It ended up costing about $50/panel for the engraving alone...

I found those knobs at HSC Electronics in San Jose for the G9 ( I bought all of them there because they were cool!).

The calrec knobs are from mouser: 506-PKES60B1/4
