G SSL G pultec G 1176 shorting or non shorting switches? I'm
oredering switches for the lot but not sure what type? Would hate to have clicks-pops, so it would be logical to have shorting type, but would that
introduce trouble of other kind?

Shouldn't matter.. We would have mentioned it if it was important..

Shorting rotary switches generally have larger contact area - thus less problems with wear - so they're generally recommended..
