It sounds insane. Insane high gain. There´s a switch on both cathodes to disconnect the caps and make it high/low gain. But really, even on low, it´s insane high gain, I mean, feeding a 20k AD converter.
It´s also insane quiet. This is my lowest noise DIY tube mic pre. Works great with my new ribbons.
Tube operating points choosen by listening tests. It´s mostly NYDave 6sn7 one bottle, but with other tubes and components selection.

It was a four days (I mean nights) job. I hope someone can also try this circuit, as it sounds soooooo nice.
I´m out for a few weeks... Getting married in 30 hours from now.
