Hi everyone !
unfortunately i haven't save my post about the G7 caps values and goal.
what i'm remember is :
- The First 2µ2/250 Polyester -> Decharging to the Masse the 160v ?
- The second 2µ2/250 Polyester -> Blocking "Signal Path"
- The two 100nF Polyester -> Smooth power & reject interference
- The 10n Polystyren -> Control voltage in capsule "Signal Path"
- The 1n Polystyren -> Coupling (Blocking) the tube grid "Signal Path"
- The 100µ/35 and 1µ/63 OR 220µ/35 -> Bypass caps to increase the gain in the tube
* anyone know if it's right ??
* what is the better choice, 100µ/35 + 1µ/63 or 220µ ? why ..?
what is the goal ?
Thanks, i think know the goal of the caps it's important to the beginner to choose his component, this is not easy to understand exactly which caps play a role in the sound quality !
