I'm trying to rack up some telefunken modules.
The idea is to connect a 24 AC adaptor and make the DC voltages for power and Phantom inside the rack.

Any idea where to find these littlle bastards?

If you are in the US, (and maybe even international), you should check out Jameco, the king of wallwarts / line lumps.

http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StoreCatalogDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1

They even have a bunch of DC-DC converters and other power supplies at decent prices.

Here is a big 24VAC US one:

Mouser have a 412-224054 24vac 500mA $5.49USD.

http://www.mouser.com/catalog/619/1240.pdf

Digikey have MT7172-ND 24vac 700mA $9.74USD.
Also MT7132-ND 24vac 750mA $12.36USD.
They also have a type with screw terminals on it which has a ground or earth terminal for case earthing MT7108-ND 24vac 500mA $11.77USD.
and MT7116-ND 24vac 830mA $13.05.

If you are after a few more volts than 24vac buy the higher current output types as the 24vac is only at full current load. So if you get way more current than you need the output volts will be higher than the 24vac specified at full load by about 10%-15%. So you could end up with up to 28vac from 24vac transformer or plug pack.

How about a nice & more direct solution with ready made DC-supply blocks ?

I've scored a few of those Condor open frame supply blocks for cheap second hand. Does the 24V at more than enough Amperes. Overspecified, sure, but these (should) go cheap. And if you have a 2HE box anyway then space is not a problem.
There are a few brands doing alike stuff, like PowerOne.

The 48 could most likely be 'tricked' from the secondary AC with a few parts.

You're in Belgium, right ?
Who know this one is still for sale (not my ad):
Of course you probably have different AC voltage where you live. But for the sake of North Americans wondering the same thing.

Radio Shack: Part# 273-1690

I plan on using one of these for my JLM AC/DC supply.
My local radio shack had these on clearance for $1. (this was years ago.)
I thought they were DC adapters but when I got home I looked more closely at the packaging and realized they were AC. I eventually just threw them away!!!

I didn't know a few years later I would have a good use for them.
