Hi to all again!
At this time, most usefull thing in addition to all projects
like GSSL, GPultec, G1176, and many others from this forum.

There are 2 types of boards.
Which board I need? Depending on connectors used and distance between connector's centers; check here:

This PCB gives an option for true bypass, cleanest way-
relays contacts only, and it placed close to in/out XLR's.
Can be used in mastering setup as insert's patchbay.

Options:
-Any commercially available DIP-16 relay's can be used
in parallel or series connection for voltages availabe from
power supply you use.
-Output XLR pin 1 goes to case thru RC network solving ground issues.
-Input XLR pin 1 can be disconnected from case.
-Load termination resistor and Zobel network preserved for
output transformers for devices like 1176 or Neve, etc.
-PCB mounted XLR's or Jack's for easy hookup.
-Fits easy in Tat's cases, just ask for backs like Sontec stereo.

Kit contains pcb, xlr's, relays, Molex conn., etc.
Relays supplied with kit are 12V, i.e.
can be can be used on 12 or 24V supply.

It should work fine with allmost all projects.

Example, GSSL: on power supply caps (before 7815)
voltage is approx. 22-24V if 18-0-18V trafo used.

G1176: use 28V, possible to add 47-68R 1W resistor in series with relays to get 24V.

GPultec: there's approx. 12V before LM317 heater's power supply

etc.....

Why would you need to add this to the GSSL?

if the "IN" knob is not pushed you are bypassing it , right?

Yes, but with that board you "hard Baypass" the unit, the signal don't reach the circuit when bypassed, with that relays it wires the in and out directly.. got it? ;)

I probably would get it even more, if I had a look to the GSSL circuit or if I've made one already.
I thought that the In button switched the Input directly to the circuit or directly to the output

sorry for that, and thanks a lot for you explanation.

In the future I hope to build one and then the relay will probably be a must have.

Hey Igor,

I checked the kits and saw that two 3 pins set are missing? Also looked at the schematic and saw the various options. I'm building the GSSL with Super Sidechain, Turbo, and your relay board. Is there a chance those 3 pins are not needed? Otherwise I will order the Molex connectors elsewhere. And by the way the SSC will be featured, but not at the moment.

I'll be making a thorough wiring setup about this particular build. So any help will be appreciated by you Igor.  :)

You mean, ALL Molex connectors are missing?

For GSSL, 2 boards needed. With 12v relays, I'd connect both boards in series,
relays wired in series, beetween + and - before 15 V regulators.

BTW, some people asked me to make bypass boards which fits regular Neutrik
nc-3 connectors and can be used with all standard Purusha's cases,
60mm beetween Neutriks...

Hey Igor,

I'm planning to build an external PSU board with my GSSL. The one going to be used is Mnats PSU board. Below is some info :

What is not going to be featured on the board are the big capacitors (35v, 1000uF) and the bridge rectifier. Picture from Matta's off-board PSU build (hope you do not mind, Matta  :))  :

So the off-board PSU what I am going to use has trimmers for correct (precise) positive and negative voltages. Are the +15 and -15 rails direct connectible with the relays? Obviously going for the Molex connectors from the PSU to the relays, neat isn't it? If so is there anything to be reminded and be careful with, with this approach?

Well. Looking in my GSSL picture archive I came upon this (uploaded on imageshack, not your webspace Mathflan) :

This is how it should done if anyone (almost complete for me) is waiting for the respons about this particular GSSL setup. However if anything is not correct about the wiring? Let us know. Still this is not the relay what Igor is selling, but an idea how to wire it.

Hello,

I was looking for a true bypass kit for a while !

Do I need 1 or 2 kits for a GSSL compressor as it is stereo ?

on the ordering topic you say that it costs 6€ for "a PCB" + 6€ shipping, you don't talk about a full kit.
So, is it delivered with the electronic components or is it just the board ?
