A friend gave me an audio tranformer out of a APEX ribbon mic ('cause he changed to a CINEMAG tranfo)
So i got home to test and build a really cheap ribbon mic..

MATERIALS:
-standard kitchen aluminium foil  ;D
-transformer about 1:22
-stick of wood to hold the "thing" :)
-XLR connector to test to an XLR input preamp
-a brass screw to hold one side of the ribbon
-2 neodimium magnets out of a broken PC hard drive

And the FUNNY pictures  ;D:

take notice about the mic not being grounded , the transfo not being isolated/grounded, preamp at "maximun gain" noise.

As a first test it's pretty good, and as I improve the super design  :D and materials I have in my Mic, there should be improvements in the sound.
