So im trying to hookup an edcor xs1100 as an input transformer for my class D amplifier im building.
Its not working correctly and I cant figure out what im doing wrong. I first hooked it up like this picture: http://www.edcorusa.com/Images/Products/SCM/XS1100.png
When i did it like that i only get a very low faint sound, like its wired out of phase.
Then i tried to hook it up like this pic: http://purusha.smokinggunrecording.com/MEQ5/XS1100%20Specification%20sheet.pdf
Then i got a big hum.
Has anyone used this transformer on an input, that would be willing to help me figure out how to hook up the damn thing?
Does pin12 = transformer shield need to be hooked up to anything?
