Hi everyone! I've been a member of this site for a month now, I've been browsing this forum for schematics for about a month now but not posting anything. I'm a newbie when it comes to circuit design, for the most part. I worked for a summer as a lab assistant for the Imaging Research Center at Mayo Hospital building prototypes for surface coils...basically large loops of copper wire laid out on plastic boards with high-Q LC band-pass filters. So I know how to test components, how to solder, and how to test and tune passive filtering circuits, and that's about it. I've been trying to learn to solve the differential equations for RLC circuits from network analysis...I've got it down for parallel and series circuits but still working on bridges, lattices, and ladders. I just finished building my first working subkick and I like it a lot...I want to build a processor that's a 1/3-octave interpolating graphic EQ with each band connected to a multipressor/multi-expander that accepts sidechain input, but that's a big project, so I thought I'd start small with the subkick. Anyways, I've seen a lot of awesome schematics and seen a lot of people here who seem to who really know what they're doing and enjoy teaching others, so I thought I'd introduce myself!
