Second project finished (only manage one a year!)
Sorry no engraving (its only for me so i don't really need to know where everyting is)
The "Yellow Peril",is 4 channels of SSL9K with illuminated push buttons
Top PB yellow = 48V
Middle PB Blue = 20db pad
Bottom PB Red = Phase
Switchable LED meter (ssl techs one)
Led's above the selector switch mimic the ones above gain pots (from audio maintenance)
as a meter /channel selected indication.
SSL9K psu's,one modded for 12v led supply,with a power distribution pcb
And I love it ,  compared to some consumer/pro gear i have
there is noooo...... competition.
;)

Yeah i love the LED meter, the wiring....yeah..are those the Owel pushbuttons?
They look terribly awesome...i admire people who is able to work on breadboard!

I hope you'll change these ugly knobs and make a beautifull label.
Maybe ,in time, I actually like the knobs ,off an old tandberg stereo amp and all i can find
at the moment to fit the AM 4mm shaft pots.
As for label, yeh be nice, but most options seem to cost an arm and a leg !
Knobs and lables are only asethetic,to me its the souuuu...........nd of the pre
and this is starting to go over budget at the mo.
EDIT added psu pic i missed

Awesome rack!
I love this yellow color...unusual  ;D

Any mods to use THAT chips on balancer boards??(1646 right?)

thumb up!

No just dropped them in,they do give +6db but i only use the balanced out when driving a stage
multicore,in a live situation, for recording use i just use them unbalanced

Hi s2udio,

Congratulations for your work.

I'm waiting for the ssl9k boards to arrive. Meanwhile i would like to know the dimensions in cm or mm of these boards.

Thank you.
