500 series Tube DI Noise

Hey, I have a 500 series Tube DI that has some rf and noise issues, I had been doing some digging and noticed there is only one ground onto the power ground on pin 13 of the API format. the input and output grounds are connected to this same rail to main power ground, If I connect the input 1/4 ring to the chassis ground or pin one, (or the ground itself to pin one) would it fix the rf and noise issues? A bit newer to fixing and doing custom gear like this, I've been working on kits for a bit so sorry if this is a kind of dumb question.
