D47 Fet New Body Style PCB now available

dont know if the link is already in this thread but i did order and recieve those 2 U47fet bodies and they are great quality and value for the bucks IMHO https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...o.order_list.order_list_main.9.76a71802ekW7PJ
But they have no switches and no hex spacer for the pcb , the only hex are the first ones with perpendicular thread to hold the plate hoding the capsule , to the mic body . The only strange thing is that i have to tighten the the round screw (shockmount) by hand when i move the body it loosen a bit the grip of the shcokmount. , but it s not a problem at all , i dont know if it s the normal behaviour but it s ok for me ( i m sorry for my poor english)

I've been curious about those bodies. So, how do the PCB's screw into the body? From the underside of the capsule deck?

it s the same system as the Neumann mic , 3 points , inserting screw part of hex standoff (male female , male up)

Capsule Plate to Hi-Z PCB:
Brass Female-Female
Thread: M2.5-0.45
Side Thread: M2.5-0.45 drill/tap through middle of hex
Hex: 8mm (5/16")
Length: 10mm (3/8").
Hi-Z PCB to Amp PCB:
Brass Male-Female
Thread: M2.5-0.45
Hex: 4mm (5/32")
Length: 16mm (5/8")

Amp PCB to Transformer PCB:
Brass Male-Female
Thread: M2.5-0.45
Hex: 4mm (5/32")
Length: 25mm (1")
 
Has anyone had any trouble buying these bodies? I have tried twice with two different credit cards and the bank is refusing the transaction. I'm getting fraud alert calls and texts from the bank. I'm not seeing another seller with this body on aliexpress, nor do I see it offered on another platform beside aliexpress, unfortunately.

I emailed Jenny at Shengyin Electronics ([email protected]) and have 2 U47FET bodies on the way with a pair of M49 bodies & shochmounts that according the drawings she provided will work with Poctop's boards. It took a bit of back and fourth, but I'm on for 4 bodies at around $125 each with shipping. IMG_3794.JPG
 
Thank you. These look exactly like what is offered on Ali so that seller is probably just a distributor of sorts for them. I'll contact Jenny. I can buy several like you did to make it worth their while if they don't fancy selling small quantities to us "little people" ;)
 
Just finished assembling one of these and am having some issues. The mic just has a buzzy sort of low hum & no signal output. As far as I can get a meter probe in there I seem to be getting voltages in line with what on the diagram although I can't get to all test points. If i touch the risers between the pcb's the buzz gets a lot louder. If I touch the front diaphram node with a small screwdriver I can see the level go up on the meter and hear slight rustling in my headphones. This leads me to believe that the amp side of things appears to be working or have some life. I get continuity from ground to the back plate & from the hiZ node to centre of capsule.

Can anyone give me some pointers, or things to try, I'm running out of ideas ? Maybe a stupid mistake but I'm not seeing it ...

Check if top plate doesn't short the high impedance board,there is too small space there. I had to add a proper grounding point to the mic bottom rings, as the XLR connector's small screw if not enough.

Thanks for the input. I don't think that is an issue because at one point I was testing it with the top board unscrewed & I was still getting the problem.
 
The way I was instructed to mount the arm: Screw – Washer – Two friction washers – L-Bracket – Two friction Washers – Microphone body - Nut. Once I have the assembly tightened to my liking, I put some E6000 adhesive on the nut inside the body.
SOrry for the dumb question , but do You put the glue between the nut and body or between the nut and screw ?? or maybe both >Have a Great Day !!!
