All non diskret OP in the later Neumann stuff were build around 5532/5534
(Line amps/summing/EQ/etc.). So I think you will not have any problems with "removing" the "german radio sound".... :grin:

Well, I think the project is still on then. Right now I'm looking for some second hand neumann stuff on evilbay. Even a simple stereo fader has 4 transformers in it, and much cheaper than @ Haufe....

Thats good news. Do you know this only about N*eumann or also about all the other Rundfunktechnik-brands?

Well, if it's a active fader it has transformers in it most of the time.
