Some fun things to try
When I built a SE 6l6 amp from a PA I tried the amp with and without(connected the screen to the PS node directly) 470 ohm screen R. I think it sounded better without the 470 and at the lower power level it might not hurt the tube to much (screen current). Dave have you tried this in your amp?
Ref the center of the fil 100 ohm resistors to the "top" of R17. This raises the fil voltage above ground and cuts down hiss and hum. I believe this is a very old design trick.
For C1 and C4 try a 1uf to 2.2uf PET films
Soundguy played an amp of mine that had pet cathode caps installed as well as all polypro power supply caps.
