My Pipe

I'd love to see some more detailed photos of this mic body for reference. Where did you get the pipe and mesh material? What are the dimensions? Looks great!

Does anyone know whether epoxied grill material will come off cleanly? Gus? I'm thinking of doing the top mesh over again. When I did this I didn't really have a knack for shaping the grill, but I think I have the hang of it now.

Epoxy does not come off clean.

One of my early builds used two screws and a bar inside to clamp the mesh in place. Does not look nice but works. pictures at omnipresser

I have been thinking of forming the whole mesh assembly outside the body , soldering it up and painting etc.

On the inside would be two brass pieces soldered drilled and tapped. On the body would be two counter sunk holes. Brass screws would be used to hold the mesh in place.

Anytime you want to remove epoxy use heat. A soldering iron will do wonders for example.
