Does anybody know if the TC1220 has the basically same circuit than the 1240?
The 1220 is supposed to be a feedback supressor so I guess the max Q of the filters are different. I´m asking because I don´t like the sound of the high filter section. It always sounds stressed to me. A mod overhere would be a good idea.
Any ideas on this?

Subbing 33079 for the pseudo-074's on the filter boards (maybe only at the HM/HI bands) will probably fix this.

I don't know that particular model, but it's probably a 1140 with slightly different in/out motherboard.

I have. You can get an original service manual if you pm me your adress

Does anyone have service manual for the  TC1140?

I would really appreciate it & I'd be happy to send some $$ to your paypal.

Mine has some issues and TC won't send me the service manual. Their rates to fix it is more that what I paid for it used.

I found a schematic online but it is blurry and my eyes have trouble seeing the values.

I don't have the service manual, but I posted a decent copy of the schematics in the Technical Docs section:

Sorry for bringing back this old thread.
I am restoring an TC 2240 Parametric EQ and there is a trimmer at the input with an undocumented function.

Thanks for your help Jakob.
I have replaced a broken trimmer and  I have no idea about how to adjust it.
Unfortunately CMRR is a new word for me,  I need to look this up.
Thanks.

Connect a line level signal to pin 2+3 (signal) and pin 1 (ground).
Adjust the trimmer for minimal output.
