What were those MXL mics that people liked to modify?

about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago a Butter? something posted a mod for a cheap under $200 mod for the ART Tube MP and the MXL 990. He said it sounded great. He said to replace the caps with WIMA polyprops he said replace as many as possible. He recomended against using styrene for the capsule caps. Seemed like this system was rated pretty well.

I made a new one from Gus's sketch. The 56K we were discussing earlier is actually a 58K (R2).
